Writing is one of my great passions. It allows me to examine complex problems and imagine new possibilities.
My worldview is profoundly shaped by cultural studies and the post-structural philosophy that everything in human culture, society, and nature can be analyzed and interpreted like a text. It is thrilling to imagine the world as a web of texts, but I navigate it with caution, so I don't become trapped
When given the freedom, I write with a strong editorial voice. I also enjoy writing for large organizations to help them develop a confident, cohesive, and distinctive voice. The following samples reflect a variety of genres including research excerpts, blog posts, and op-ed style pieces:
